â€œCaribbean Food for Thoughtâ€ will be held at Eden Gardens Wellness Resort and Spa (39 lady Musgrave road)
For the new decade, we intend to make an impact by bringing to the surface new talents from the oceans abyss to swim in concert with experience talents such as Oku Onuora the God Father of Dub-Poetry, Jawara, Meeka Nyota, Kalm Medz, Esquire, Meikle, Apollo Tafari, Sirplus, Owen Blakka Ellis an entertainment guru and Moses Fennel an international designer that has designed outfits for many Miss World contestants and winners, Krishinaâ€™s Design and Kerone Martin Designs. They will surf alongside the new talents on an organic cultural wave we identified and beautifully called "Food for Thought (The Sankofa and Part Charity Edition" 20% of the proceed will be used to purchase items for the Maxfield Park Children Homes) March 2020, At the Eden Gardens Wellness Resort and Spa.
On the night "Food for Thought" patrons will see Jamaica designers evoke black people trials and triumph in their collections as the poets raise their eyebrows and IQs like a light with tales of black people's defeat, victories, present, and future battles. Poets, makeup artiste, designers, and models will combine their talents to create an epic theatre experience, like a million different flowers to create an alluring garden. Additionally, we will have baskets set up strategically to collect can items for charity.
