BrandCamp: The Marketers’ Meet-Up is a brand storytelling experience that brings the backstories of Jamaica’s most admired campaigns into the spotlight. Hosted by the Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) in partnership with Chaynge Co., BrandCamp represents a bold fusion of academic inquiry and real-world marketing practice.
BrandCamp convenes marketing and communication professionals, students, creatives, and industry leaders to unpack the thinking, strategy, and cultural insight behind some of the most impactful brand and social impact campaigns of the past decade. Rather than focusing on finished ads, the event dives into the why, how, and lessons learned; offering attendees rare, behind-the-scenes access to the decision-making that shapes powerful brands. Each case highlights how purposeful storytelling, consistency, and cultural relevance can drive long-term brand equity.
Beyond a single-day experience, BrandCamp is designed as a lasting knowledge exchange. In collaboration with the National Library of Jamaica, featured case studies will be researched, documented, and archived, therefore creating a valuable repository for education, reference, and future research. BrandCamp ultimately positions itself as a platform that not only celebrates Jamaican marketing excellence, but also preserves it, inspires it, and passes it forward to the next generation of Caribbean brand builders.
