Japanese Garden

JAMAICA and Japan celebrate six decades of diplomatic relations in 2025 and in a push to further strengthen the bond between the two countries, a small Japanese Garden is being established at Hope Gardens in collaboration with Supporters such as the committee of the Japanese Garden Association (JGA) Japan Exchange and Teaching programme Alumni Association (JETAA), Anime Fes, among others.

The Japanese garden will be a place of healing and relaxation for the Jamaican people, and we are sure that people from the neighbouring countries will come to see the Japanese garden .The Japanese Garden will not only be the place of meditation but also be a place to admire when the young pink poui trees grow to resemble a row of cherry blossom trees in Japan.

We seek your support and cooperation.
