NATIONAL RESPONSE – HURRICANE MELISSA REBUILD INITIATIVE

Hurricane Melissa has left profound emotional, economic, and structural damage across Jamaica, displacing families and leaving many single mothers without a place to call home. As a Foundation committed to uplifting women at risk, we cannot be silent or still.

The Woman Ignite Foundation is proud to launch the “Brick by Brick” Rebuild Initiative, a national effort to restore homes for at least five single mothers across the five hardest-hit parishes. This is more than disaster relief—it is restoration, dignity, and nation-building, one woman, one family, one household at a time.
