Chain of Hope Jamaica
Chain of Hope Jamaica was established in 2007 on the grounds of the Bustamante Hospital with the aim of:
1. Developing a local sustainable cardiac service to serve the children of Jamaica & the Caribbean.
To achieve this, the organization’s objects are to:
2. Facilitate the training and development of skilled cardiac clinicians and support staff
3. Partner with international donor organizations to mobilize free medical missions at the Bustamante Cardiac Centre
4. Partner with corporate foundations, companies, humanitarian service clubs and other friends of the hospital to seek out financial support for well needed cardiac procedures
5. Seek out donations of cardiac equipment/ supplies to use in treating heart sick kids
6. Attract project funding to maintain project infrastructure and operational activities
