SEX AND THE CHRISTIAN MAGAZINE
“SEX AND THE CHRISTIAN” … Hmmm!!! What is this? This is a response to the request posed by the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans 12:1. This is a very “loaded” topic, but then, the request is a very “loaded” one.
As part of the responsibilities of the redeemed, renewed, born again Christian life, we are called to a “speckled bird” experience – one that engages continuous relationship with GOD indwelling us in the person of the Holy Spirit. There are requirements that come with such a high calling. In Leviticus 19:2, God spoke through Moses to the congregation of Israel “Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy”. This is reiterated in Matthew 5:48 where Jesus raised the bar for us with his command “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect”. The words “holy” and “perfect” here connote the states of righteousness, sanctification, consecration, dedication and maturity.
"SEX AND THE CHRISTIAN" magazine highlights various experiences of the Christian life in our endeavour to live up to that calling and some of the various hindrances that can occur in the attainment of such. This magazine guides the reader in an understanding of these possible pitfalls and provides clarity and instructions on how to deal with and overcome them.
The Editor prays that you, our readers, will find fulfillment and insight as you navigate these pages. God bless you.
