Renewal of the Mind (ROTM)

What is Renewal of the Mind (ROTM)?
• Renewal of the Mind is the church’s collective response to the Apostle Paul’s exhortation for us to present our bodies as living sacrifices that are holy and acceptable unto the Lord.
• We intensify our commitment to not be conformed to this world and its patterns of behaviour.
• We allow the penetrating power of the Holy Spirit to transform us by the renewing of our minds.
• It is only through such renewal that we will be able to discern the ‘good, acceptable and perfect will of God’
(Romans 12 v 1-2).

Renewal of the Mind begins on Wednesday, February 22, and ends on Sunday, April 9, 2023. During this time, we, therefore, observe the sufferings of Christ as we increase our engagement in the core spiritual disciplines of the Word, Worship, Prayer, Giving, Silence, Journaling and Fasting, and the complementary disciplines of Service, Solitude, and Simplicity.
This year, our theme is, “God’s Eternal Kingdom", and the tagline is "He Reigns Forever".

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
