Rise Up. A Benefit concert for Paul Barclay.
To date, after months of post rehabilitative care including 5 weeks of radiation therapy and ongoing physiotherapy Paul is only able to sit up with the use of a rigid brace. Movement is very limited and is associated with severe back pain in the region of the surgery. His recovery cost is estimated to be approximately $5,000,000.00, which covers among other things: specialist visits, treatment and post rehabilitative care to include physiotherapy, diet and other equipment to support movement.
Paul has had an indelible and extremely commendable track record within the music industry. His work has supported many to achieve their musical goals and he continues to be an inspiration to many young and established acts. In light of this, Members of the music fraternity has joined forces to stage a benefit concert titled Rise Up set for Saturday, February 2, 2019 to help Paul on this journey.
