RAFFLE 2022

General Information:

The duration of the raffle will be from April 1, 2022, until July 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM. The cost for each ticket is J$200 per ticket and the grand prize draw will be on July 8, 2022. Enter to win cool prizes. Part proceeds from the raffle are in aid of JRPAA Graduation July 2022 expenses.


Methods Of Collecting Funds:

We have three main methods to collect payments for raffle tickets. Tickets are J$200 each and are non-refundable.

Method Of Ticket Numbering:

The tickets will mostly be virtual. As best as possible we will try to not have physical tickets. This is to help reduce the possibility of the spread of COVID-19 and follow protocols of physical distancing.

However, if there are physical tickets, they will be distributed by a member of the JRPAA executive team to a small number of participants. The tickets will have a number on them and the JRPAA member will write down the corresponding number and person with contact details for that ticket.

If you use the online portal, a reference number will be given to you. This reference number will allow us to convert your order to ticket numbers. These ticket numbers will be sent to you via email or Whatsapp. If you pay physically or via online banking/transfer, you will similarly be sent some ticket numbers virtually for your entries. Every J$200 payment equates to a ticket number or entry.




Method of Prize Draw:

We will do a combined approach of virtual and physical for the prize draw. The prize draw will include physical tickets in a container that someone will pick from to call out prize winners. There will be someone present to double-check that the number is a part of the raffle and that a person has not won more than once.

One winner cannot win more than one prize. That is if someone wins one prize, that will be the only one they can win for the raffle.

The Raffle Prize Draw will either be recorded and rebroadcasted later or steamed LIVE to take a record of the prize draw and its winners.


Available Prizes:

There will be eight (8) prizes in total. Three (3) main prizes and five (5) smaller prizes.

1. A Samsung phone
2. Tablet devices
3. A Spa Treatment - a relaxing back massage in a spa
4. Five (5) smaller prizes of branded JRPAA merchandise.
For example - water bottles and stickers


For the spa treatment, the winner will receive a gift certificate redeemable at the spa for up to three (3) months.


Auditors and Overseers:

The main JRPAA executive will create a system to record all payments and their corresponding ticket numbers. This document will be used to double-check all raffle ticket numbers on the prize draw and to ensure the right winner is selected for those ticket numbers.
